Once upon a time there was a girl, a boy, and a ruthless queen bee.
At first it didn't make sense.
None of it made sense, seeing him with her The bitchy queen gets the sweet down to earth boy, the only one that would put up with her moodswings and sick twisted habits.
He said he couldn't think of anything but her, day or night, and that he loved her smile and her laugh.
They never would've met if it weren't for me. He was the guy I serendipitously added on facebook so I'd have more 'mutual friends' with the guy you liked back then. You two met, talked, and flame warred on a few facebook pages and you decided you liked him. She didn't agree, she thought he was gay.
Since she was queen bee, what she says goes.
--
You had a great summer away from her. You met a group of people who excepted you for who you were, spending every single day wandering the streets partying together, eating whatever you wanted because all the partying burned away carbs, and going where ever you wanted without cause.
Everything was perfect, you spent the whole summer getting thin and getting brown, poised to break free from her hold with the unbreakable net of your new friends to break your fall. Your parents decided to choose then to move out of your cozy apartment and far far away.
You thought the move would break her hold over you. It didn't, it just made it harder to tell what she would do to you next.
Her therapist seemed to have done some extra work over the summer, or she just learned to lie better. Meeting him through you they fell in love.
Your heart broke. If someone as horrible as her could find love in the world that what does that make you.
And then began your downward spiral.
Christmas came, if it weren't for the lone candy cane you found crushed all over your backpack, you probably would've forgotten.
Your parent's marriage was disintegrating, they only talked to each other on the phone, or had you relay messages back and forth like a human text message. Grades down the drain, no friends, no life.
There is no happy ending on the fairy tale... because this one is a nightmare that will never end.
Merry Chrismas Liebling.
