"Hey babe, what are you doing for Christmas this year?" I asked as we walked hand in hand towards the coffee shop. We had spent the whole day shopping and were both laden down with bags.

"Probably what I usually do…" he answered and I turned towards him, an eyebrow quirked.

"And that would be what?" I asked. He was being awfully closed about this and I was going to find out why. He wasn't the mentor anymore.

"Just hang out at home. Make myself a cup of coco and drink it by the fire while I watch reruns of every childhood Christmas movie ever." He said and I could see the dejected look on his face.

"Well, Boo that is changing." I began and he turned towards me, a look of shock crossing his beautiful features.
"What?" he asked quickly and I laughed at the pure look of excitement on his features. When you got this boy excited, he was like a Golden Retriever.

"Carole decided that you're coming to our house. You can spend Christmas Eve at our house and just go home whenever the next day. Oh, but I must warn you, your sharing a room with Rachel." I said, the last couple of words causing a look of disgust to fill me.

"Are you serious? I don't want to be a burden." He replied and I glared at him.

"You are not allowed to call yourself a burden. I forbid it. And yes, I'm sure. Now let's get some coffee before I collapse out of exhaustion." I said and he grabbed my bags, practically skipping to the coffee shop. I couldn't wait until Christmas.
