Saki rubbed her eyes as she woke up. The ocean in the night's air told her that the ship her new master had loaded them on still had not reached their destination. She slowly exited her coffin; Alucard had told that they would be unable to properly feed for awhile so she would have to sleep in a coffin filled with the soil that had been stolen from under the room she had been born in back at the Willow Inn. Saki tip toed out of cargo hold and up to the deck. She saw her master talking to the human he called Van Hellsing, but she could only understand Alucard. Without even turning, Alucard chuckled, "And I thought only ninja lurked in dark corners. What are you doing, samurai?
"N-nothing, m-master!" She nearly fell over in surprise. 'How does he do that?' He gestured for her to come beside him. Without a moment's hesitation, she was at his side and feeling rather small under Hellsing's glare. She stood still as they argued about her (again); she figured it was about her from what Alucard was saying.
"Why did you allow her to live? She's either going to slow us down or betray us." Van Hellsing hissed in anger. He was still not sure if having this newborn joining their newly found organization was a good idea. She was quiet, and only seemed to listen to Alucard; plus he never understood a word she said. Alucard looked down at the young woman avoiding eye contact and said, "She'll be neither; in time, you'll see her true potential. She is gifted in swordsman ship and her family linage is quite…promising. Trust me, she'll be fine."
"We'll see. But if she does either, I'm trusting you to deal with it." Hellsing walked back to the captain's quarters, leaving the two vampires standing there.
Saki could feel the negativity in the air. She sighed, 'Why doesn't Lord Hellsing approve of my presence yet? I've been by his and master Alucard's side for weeks now. What am I doing wrong?' Her blood reacted when she heard Alucard say, "Well, let's get back to our coffins; England is still days away.. Might as well, sleep and not be bored."
"Hai.. Alucard-sama." She replied as she followed him back down below to go back to sleep.
