Elitist and refined,
Blood-purity enshrined,
No Slytherin outshined,
The Malfoy Family.
-
Their manor's richly drear,
Ostentatious yet severe,
They boast Voldemort slept here,
The Malfoy Family.
-
(da da da dum)
Snide
(da da da dum)
Self-pride
(da da da dum, da da da dum, da da da dum)
Misallied
-
If you visit, first prepare,
For enchantments to ensnare,
They'll catch you unaware,
The Malfoy Family.

A/N: Da da da dum, snap! snap! Yes, I patterned this poem on the Addams Family theme song written by Vic Mizzy. The "da da da dums" were used for rhythm and irony :D. Rose is about to meet the Malfoys in my story Our Little Secret, and working toward that moment gave me the urge to write this poem--that and knowing I won't be able to finish chapter twenty in time to post on Friday. Angst and poetry go together. Snap! Snap!
