B.o.B ft Hayley Williams - Airplanes

~Wish~

"Happy birthday, Bocchan."

The young Earl Phantomhive turned his baby blue eyes to meet his butler, who grinned wickedly, his coppery eyes glinting from the dancing flames of the extravagant cake which had been baked only the previous night.

The scent of chocolate which was shoved almost forcefully under his nose was mouth-watering.

Desire.

Pearly teeth just visible through silky lips.

"Make a wish, Young Master."

"Don't be a fool," the sweet soprano voice bit back. Like a kitten who didn't enjoy being tickled.

"Go on, Sir," Sebastian's voice was far too soft, too eloquent.

Ciel, of course, had a wish. Didn't everyone? Ciel had two wishes. The first was to do with his deceased parents. Didn't everyone wish to see the ones they loved again, even if it was just for once? He would do anything to see them alive again. But something once lost can never return.

And he would never see them again. Not after...

His royal blue orbs flickered upwards to meet the shining gems of his butler's.

This led him into his second wish...

The young noble breathed in deeply, enjoying the scent of the cake and the slight hint of smoke from the candles.

"Ah, wait a moment, Sir," Sebastian interrupted.

The Earl lifted his head to observe his valet more carefully, wearing a quizzical expression.

"You have forgotten to close your eyes."

The boy ground his teeth together, but closed his eyes anyway.

It struck Sebastian in this moment just how ethereal and beautiful his Lord was. The slight flush in the otherwise porcelain cheeks, the long black lashes which barely brushed his cheeks, the way his milky lids moulded perfectly over the large baby-doll-like eyes.

Wish.

The boy's exhaled breath to blow out the candles was, however, cut short as he felt a separate pair of lips clamp down gently on his own.

A sly, quick tongue teased his and he let a soft mewl slip from him, despite himself.

Pleasure.

When Sebastian pulled back, the little lord was blushing heavily and even panting slightly, his eyes misted and his lips rouged.

"Happy birthday, Bocchan," the raven butler repeated with a secretive wink as he slipped from the study.

It didn't bother the boy that the butler had been so bold as to kiss him, no, nothing of the sort. What really bothered him was...

"But how did he know?"

Very short one-shot. I'm almost certain I set this just after Ciel and Sebastian had made the contract, because I always think of Ciel as being more innocent back then.

If you hasn't already guessed, I got the idea for this when I was listening to Airplanes.

I'm really surprised that my fic Poked in the Eye was so popular and I'm so glad you all liked it. This fanfic was sort of just to thank all my supporters and it makes me really happy to see that people like what I write. 3

I hope you enjoyed it.
