Please review if you could, Thanks

Sonic was sure that he had gone to sleep moments earlier, but now he stood, his eyes closed and his skin cold. Where... am I? The sentence hardly formed in his mind as he drowsily raised his eyelids. He couldn't see anything. It must be pretty dark in here. He tapped his foot on the ground, noticing that the ground was very solid and the contact with his foot caused the ground to create a brief, sharp sound. Metal?

He was startled by a sudden, rising tone that emitted from all directions. He identified it as a generator powering up, sounding like it had been off for a while. The tone halted, and a single light bulb above him spread a dim, yellow veil of light upon his fur. Who's doing this? What's going on? Panic overtook him, and his vision shifted all about for an answer.

Another light powered, this one a small distance ahead of him. And another, another, another, each getting further and further from him. One last light powered, revealing a figure beneath it.

Tails. Strapped to a table. A spinning blade was just feet above him and lowering

Sonic's lungs dropped and his throat ached. "Sonic! Sonic!" Tails yelled. "Don't worry, I'll get you out of there!" Sonic said. Sonic's legs forced himself forward with great power as he dashed toward Tails. But his legs grew heavy. He powered forward. Heavier. His feet made heavy and quick impacts with the floor. "SONIC PLEASE!" Tails screamed helplessly, his voice shrieking.

Sonic breathed heavily and tried with all of his might, but his legs were just too heavy. Anguish filled his heart and tears violently shot across his face. I'm too weak. I can't do it. I'm not fast enough. "TAILS!" Sonic screamed, his words projecting like vomit.

Tails laid, his face coated with sweat and tears, his arm outstretched to the hero who couldn't save him.

Sonic awoke in the bed of his Station Square apartment, sweaty and breathing with strong force. He looked around his room, glad to realize that the ordeal was merely a nightmare.

Tails sat on his bed reading a book with a lamp providing him light. He heard knocking on his door and looked up. Tails opened the door to reveal Sonic. He looked terrible. Sweat had made his fur form clumps, and the whites of his eyes had turned slightly pink. Sonic opened his arms wrapped them around Tails. This is sort of weird, Tails thought to himself, but he hugged Sonic back. They then separated. They looked at each other. "Sorry, that was probably kind of weird." Sonic said. "Nah, it's fine. See you tomorrow." replied Tails. "See ya."
