A/N: Hey guys. I know this kind of bad, but I wrote it in like ten minutes and I'm spending another ten typing it for my buds—HEY JILLIAN HEY COOKIE MONSTER WHAT'S CRACKING?

So don't judge. xD R&R if you'd like. This was written after watching The Deathly Hallows part 1. Whoop whoop.

Disclaimer: I do not own the character Luna Lovegood… or Harry Potter. Anything recognizable belongs to the lovely Jo herself.

Not So Bad

Not everyone can truly believe that the world can be good. But Luna did, even after she was attacked by Death Eaters, who are pretty evil. As she got out of bed that morning, the sky was dull and grey. She brushed her slightly blistered feet from walking through the woods without any shoes across the stone tiles. She tried to tell her father that it wasn't the best choice, but he never listened. Luna slowly walked down the stairs, just in case her father was not awake yet. But as she approached the landing, she saw her father standing by the sink surrounded by people she didn't recognize. She glanced at the men standing in her home, checking them for anything suspicious. Her father looked broken and pressured as the men talked to him. "Father…" She spoke silently, with the hopeless wonder as to why they are there. But when her father gave her a glare, she noticed it; the men each had dark black—as there are many shades, spiraling up their forearms. Dark marks, they were called. But before she could cry out to the man that meant everything to her, the men started running towards her, chasing her with horrible smirks upon their worn down faces.

That's when all hell broke loose.

A/N: So, it's obviously not that long, but I hope it was worth reading anyway. Thanks, cupcakes3 -Krysti
