So this has taken forever. Literally. It's been on my computer for months, partially complete, and I've only finished it cause I forced myself to. Kinda like it, but kinda don't at the same time. Will edit sometime in the future. Anyway… This is inspired by the works of 'La Editor.'

She's sixteen and sure she's happy, bouncing around worlds with Leon and stealing gummi parts from Cid, sixteen and teasing the boy who'll save the worlds; wondering why it feels familiar.

She's sixteen and there's circular imprints on her shuriken she can't find use for and every monster she fights she knows she's fought worse; sixteen and she and Leon are never quite a perfect team.

She's sixteen sixteen and there's something wrong with Cloud's clothes and Aeris' smile, smoke missing from Cid's breath, sixteen sixteen and the color red burns holes in her heart that bleed the taste of whiskey and cinnamon into her dreams.

She's sixteen sixteen and the worlds are too small to hold all her memories and you should never trust a man with silver hair, sixteen sixteen and magic is both harder and easier than it should be, and the shine is never quite right.

She's sixteen sixteen sixteen and Radiant Gardens isn't as radiant as she thinks she remembers and Sora brings to mind another boy whose name she can't recall, sixteen sixteen sixteen and moogles give her dreams of clanging slot machines and sly smiling cats.

She's sixteen sixteen sixteen and this life she's living has never been hers and this home isn't home and hasn't ever been, sixteen stixteen sixteen and dreams are so much better than realty because now she's remembering everything she was supposed to forget.

She's nineteen, nineteen, nineteen and Nanaki and Denzel and Marlene and Barret are scars left on her heart, and she'd give anything to have died with Vincent the day their planet perished, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen and she'd give up everything she has if only she could have it all back.
