Dean had always had certain rules concerning his Impala. Dean never wanted any ipod docks in the impala, or any sort of foreign music. One day, he even told Sam he would 'come back and haunt him' if he ever did anything like that. Sam laughed, Dean always said crazy things like that. Dean had not gotten the impala too long ago, and he had already latched onto the car. He had always been protective of the impala. John said it was because it was Dean's first permanent possession, but what did John really know? He didn't know what kinds of music his son even loved. Anyway, Dean had forbidden Sam from messing around with the impala. He called it his 'baby'. Sam knew the impala meant so much to Dean, that he really would come back and haunt Sam if he died and Sam messed with it. This was precisely why Sam was currently sitting in the impala, installing an iPod dock in and playing as much pop music as possible. Weeks ago, Dean had gone out on a supply run to the nearest convenience store in the impala, and he had never come back. Sam had spent an entire day worrying about him, when finally the police graced their grimey motel door to say the words 'Dean Winchester has died in a car crash. We are so sorry for your loss' John had taken it about as well as he could have, but Sam had only had his big brother. He was now alone. Dean had only been 16, he hadn't even lived. He had gotten his license only weeks ago, and he had been so happy that he could now take Sam to school and take care of him. That was why Sam was currently installing the iPod dock in the impala. Dean had said he would come back and haunt him if he changed the impala, so here Sam was, changing the impala. He was hoping, praying to God that Dean would come back and haunt him. He had never wanted anything more in his life. Out of all the ghosts and the demons they had dealt with, he wanted Dean to come back and stay with them. Sam siat in the impala and silently begged. He turned up the pop music, if he blasted it, then Dean would surely come back to haunt him. He hoped that Dean would come back to haunt him, yelling at him about how he had no respect for cars, and how he didn't deserve 'baby'. But Dean never did, and Sam soon stopped trying.
