Katara lies in a room of the medical tent surrounded by doctors. "Lady Katara you must deliver this child soon, or we might loose both of you."
Katara screams in pain, "Is Aang alright".
Aang is protecting the village Katara, but right now you need to focus on the child. Sokka grabs Katara's hand. A beam of light shoots into the sky from right outside the village as the sound of a baby cring echoes.
(16 years later)
A beautiful young girl about 16 stands on a bridge connecting two of the main sections of the village together. She appears to be about sixteen years of age, a little short, about 5 feet 3 inches tall, a slender body, and eyes as red as fire. A man dressed in a water tribe outfit walks up to her, "Lady Shai your mother wishes to speak to you". Shai turns and walks past the man her head pointed at the ground. As she walks threw the village she continues to look at the ground as to not see the disgrunted faces of her fellow tribe members. She did not know why they hated her. All she knew was that she was different, and they hated her for it.
"There you are Shai", Katara walks over to Shai and grabs her hands, "Sit down. I think you are ready for this". Shai walks over and sits down as Katara sits down beside her. "Shai your father wasn't part of this tribe. He was an airbender named Aang".
"But you told me he was a powerfull water bender."
"He was a powerfull waterbender."
"I don't understand."
"He was the avatar. You are the avatar now. This is the first time that two avatars have been related. Many people blame you for his death."
"So thats why everyone in this tribe hates me. He had to die so I could live."
"They don't hate you."
"THEY DO HATE ME MOTHER. They hate me because I killed the avatar, and becuase I can't waterbend." Shai gets up and storms off cring.
A few minutes later Katara comes walking into Shai's hut. "Shai you did not kill Aang. He gave his life to protect us."
"He's dead because of me mother. They treat me like an oucast just because Im different." Shai holds her right hand out her palm faceing up and takes a deep breath. As she exhails she breath out steam. The steam flows down, and as it hits her hand it explodes into a fireball.
