*elevator ding* We are focused on Tony and he is looking down at paperwork on his desk. We hear the footsteps as they stop in front of Tony's desk.

Tony: (still not looking up): "Just a second." (It's something he really wants to get done)

Jeanne: "Hi, Tony." (Tony's head snaps up)

Tony: "Jeanne?" (She nods)

Jeanne: "Can we... talk?" (he's reluctant, but agrees. They walk to the elevator. Ziva watches them go. They do the whole 'off switch' thing. They can't meet each others' eye for a long, tense minute)

Tony: "So, just passing through?"

Jeanne: "Something like that." (Silence)

Tony: "Jeanne... why are you back?" (He still stings)

Jeanne: "I've had time to think, Tony. A lot... of time to think. I realized that I was wrong. I thought..."

Tony: "Thought what?"

Jeanne: "I though maybe we really were in love and it wasn't an act on your part." (Said quietly)

Tony: "Jeanne..."

Jeanne: "I know who my dad was. I know what he did and I realized that, yes he was a huge target..." (he cuts her off with a finger to her lips)

Tony: "I never meant to hurt you. Tony DiNardo may have been the alias I used, but I never disguised my feelings for you."

Jeanne: "It didn't make it hurt any less when you told me."

Tony: "I wanted to tell you. Much earlier than I did. Jenny just..." (She cuts him off)

Jeanne: "I don't mean to speak ill of the dead, but you knew what you were getting into, Tony. You could've told her you had to stop pretending." (Tony sighs)

Tony: "Sometimes I wondered where I was pretending. Was I pretending with you? Or was Tony DiNardo who I really wanted to be because that was the better life?" (Jeanne is silent)

Tony: "Jeanne?" (Tears were forming in Jeanne's eyes. He gently took her face in his hand)

Tony: "I'm sorry, Jeanne."

Jeanne: "So am I." (They kiss)

I know Teanne isn't hugely shipped, but I kind of like it! I miss Jeanne. She was the normal in Tony's stressful life. Please comment and review!
