AN: This was a school project woot!

The great Jabberwock lives alone in the Tulgey woods. He guards it with his life. He has but one friend, the Jubjub bird who lives deep within the Tumtum tree. It only comes out to talk to the Jabberwock. If the Jubjub is near then one should be aware. He has razor sharp claws that catch anything in reach. His jaws hold many sharper teeth that rip through flesh and bone.

A lover of riddles, if you can solve his puzzle he may let you pass. Many men have tried to solve his riddles, but none have made it past the Tulgey woods. The Jabberwock had lived for many years without much disturbance; it was not until a man came to slay him that he became very angry. One day a man came with a vorpal blade in hand, the only thing that can destroy a Jabberwock.

The Jabberwock was asleep under the Tumtum tree when he heard a man call upon him. Grumpy that his sleep was disturbed the Jabberwock made a deep gurgling growl that could be heard throughout the woods. The Jabberwock stood in front of his foe, his eyes full of flames. He grabbed at the man, but the man dodged the sharp claws. The Jubjub bird tried to help the Jabberwock by pecking the eyes out of the man. The man held up his shield and only received a scratch. The man leapt at the Jabberwock as the Jabberwock trampled at the man. The Jabberwock was about to strike, but he was just one second late. The man came at the Jabberwock from the side and with one slick swipe of the blade the Jabberwock lay dead on the ground. The man triumphed in his defeat letting his guard down. For the Jubjub bird witnessed this act and in a fit of rage flew at the man and successfully pecked his eyes out. The man screamed and ran away blinded and unknowing of his surroundings. He wondered lost in the Tulgey woods forever, never reaching the end.
