The usual disclaimers ok?
For those of you who are waiting for the next chapter in Again and Always it might be a while. I'm stuck on something and am also going out of town in a few days. Hopefully next week I'll get something up for that. Any way, hope you like. Reviews are always liked. (=

Knowing that breathing was necessary for life did not make it any easier. There was a sharp pain in the area of his abdomen. Somewhere through a haze he heard Flack say "C'm on Mac! Keep it together!"
Suddenly in a different room, he had no recollection of how he had gotten there. There were a few others there as well, all looking at him. Tightness of chest, blurry vision. Danny's voice joining Flack's in an effort to keep him with them. "Don't go out on us now man." The lights started to dim.
Suddenly as if from a distance he heard music. Then a light, also as if from a distance. It was getting harder to breathe. Harder to focus. There was a figure in the light. The most beautiful thing he had ever seen. The vision was looking at him as if she were claiming him, about to take him somewhere. Where that somewhere was he was not certain but looking at the picture in front of him he knew he would follow her anywhere. Even to Hell itself if that was her plan.
She walked toward him, took his hand and lead him forward. To a man. Standing at a gate with a book in his hand. The man spoke to the vision. She replied with a serene smile. The man looked at Mac. The feeling in his stomach worsened, He knew that whatever the man asked his response, no matter what, would change things forever. The question was asked as the vision stood, looking at him with expectancy. His answer was a simple "Yes." And suddenly he found breathing was not an issue anymore. Nor was sight. The pain in his abdomen was gone. She was still there, green eyes filled with tears as the man with the book said "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss your bride."
