You have all heard of the Crusades, right? They were a series of wars fought by Christians against Muslims. What you may not know is that they were just a cover up for a much larger campaign. A battle against a much larger foe, the Jumpers, or as they were known then, the Desultor. Unlike their human counterpart, they had a biological advantage, they can move extreme distances in a single second by only focusing on where they want to go. However, like every thing, they also have a distance disadvantage, they can only 'jump' to places they have been before, for this reason those of the Desultor race usually kept images of the places they have been inside of their homes or work place. Only a select few knew of the existence of the Jumpers and, unusual for the time, that knowledge was passed on to both son and daughter, both were allowed to take part in the hunt. Known to an even more select few, were the assassins. While they usually didn't take a side, the assassins favored the Desultor, outcasts, like themselves. Living on an island very near a continent that would become known as America, were the Creed, the largest branch and the most feared. If they put a bounty on your head, you found the nearest King and beg your way to a Templar, some of the few who even stood a small chance against the master assassins.
