I sat up quickly and choked for breath. My body was soaked with sweat. I kicked my navy sheets to the floor. I swung my bare legs to the cold floor and got dressed. I needed fresh air to clear my head after such a weird dream. In the dream I was walking around in wolf form, but I was not alone. I could feel a presence nearby. I was walking on a street I had never seen before looking for something.

I ran out of my home. The ground was covered in snow. I went to a clearing in the woods and I stripped out of my clothes. I crouched down on all fours and chanced into a wolf. I began running, not chasing, but freely running letting go of stress and energy. I ran so far I became lost on an unfamiliar path. I could smell the trail of several dogs. I was soon surrounded. A few snaps and growls later the hounds all ran back home with their tails between their legs. Then I finally understood that my dream repeating in my realty. Déjà vu.

I crept out of the snowy woods and onto a paved street. I looked around for a sign of direction. The street, a neighborhood, trailed through a forest. I heard the sound of a un- frozen creak bubbling nearby. I crossed the road and quickly found the creak. I leaned down to take a drink of the cold spring water, but I didn't hear the quiet footsteps of bare feet hitting pavement.

(You're not Sorry BY Taylor Swift)

All this time I was wasting

Hoping you would come around

I've been giving out chances every time

And all you do is let me down

And it's taking me this long

Baby but I figured you out

And you're thinking we'll be fine again

But not this time around

You don't have to call anymore

I won't pick up the phone

This is the last straw

Don't wanna hurt anymore

And you can tell me that you're sorry

But I don't believe you baby

Like I did before

You're not sorry, no, no, no, no

Looking so innocent might believe you if I didn't know

Could've loved you all my life

If you hadn't left me waiting in the cold

And you got your share of secrets

And I'm tired of being last to know

And now you're asking me to listen

Cause it's worked each time before

But you don't have to call anymore

I won't pick up the phone

This is the last straw

Don't wanna hurt anymore

And you can tell me that you're sorry

But I don't believe you baby

Like I did before

You're not sorry, no, no, oh

You're not sorry, no, no, oh

You had me falling for you honey

And it never would've gone away, no

You used to shine so bright

But I watched all of it fade

So you don't have to call anymore

I won't pick up the phone

This is the last straw

There's nothing left to beg for

And you can tell me that you're sorry

But I don't believe you baby

Like I did before

You're not sorry, no, no, oh

You're not sorry, no, no, oh

No, oh, no, oh, no oh

Whoa, no, no.

The last note hung in the air. It was as if the world had gone quiet to hear the words from her soul. She had I beautiful voice, and it was a beautiful song. I looked up to find her. Standing a short distance away was a girl. She was beautiful. She was quite petit with small curves along her body. Her hair was a beautiful strawberry blond that framed her face with strands gracing her delicate cheeks. She had creamy porcelain pail white skin, soft full pink lips and big blue doe eyes. She stood there in all her glory in only knee cut sweat pants and a black tank top. She didn't even have any shoes on. I was worried about her it was freezing. I could feel the cold air penetrate through my coarse coat. The girl shivered and wrapped her arms around herself. On the inside I was glad she wore so little because it showed of her small petit curves. My inner wolf smirked about my thoughts. He gave me a few images that I quickly pushed form my mind.

Then I heard a door open and a loud groggy male voice call out, "Chloe!"

The girl turned to look up after she jumped a foot in the air.

"Coming Daddy!" she called back.

So her name was Chloe, it fit her well. I watched as Chloe turned around and ran up a drive way with grace, hopping side to side trying to doge all the sticks in her path. Several times she almost twisted over her ankle giving her a graceful yet clumsy run. She reminded me so much of a doe, innocent and curios. I smiled at the thought. I know one thing, I would definitely be coming back to see her again. When she made it out of my view I waited for the door to shut again then I started to make my way home.

Simon sat waiting on the front porch for me. I gave him a sharp nod and turned into the woods that surround our home. After I changed back in to human form I went to the front steps. This time Tori was there waiting for me.

"Your foods on the table, dog." She stood up in a swift motion and went inside the house. I followed my bitchy sister into our home. As she had said my food was on the table. I gratefully scarfed down the leftover spaghetti from last night. As soon as I was done I went into my room to get clean clothes for my shower. I grabbed a pair of jeans, a green shirt, and boxers. I headed into the bathroom and turned the water to hot. I undressed and took a glance in the mirror. My black hair has long since grown out and looks oily and greasy. My green eyes pear out from under my bangs. My skin is flushed with acne and my lips are capped with a scowl. My shoulders, chest, and arms are bulky with muscles. My stomach is flat and my hips are narrow. My thighs and calves are toned. It's no wonder people are afraid of me. The werewolf genetics make me naturally larger and stronger than humans. Humans have natural instinct to stay away from me, but that does not stop the stares. I'm fine to be on my own its how I prefer. I stepped under the spray and let the steaming water relax my body.

My adoptive dad, Kit- a sorcerer, decided to relocate for his job as a lawyer. Kit has high concentrated Korean genetics and a warm smile. He is the closes thing to a father that I have ever had. My adopted brother Simon, also a sorcerer, is the same way, he is the closest person to me in my life. His spiked blond hair is a large contradiction to his Korean features. It looks odd, but I can't think of Simon looking another way. Simon and Kit both have almond shaped brown eyes and welcoming smiles. Simon has a half-sister named Victoria. Tori, as she likes to be called, is tall and has darker almond shaped brown eyes with Korean features. Her dark hair is short and choppy. Tori is a strong witch but she has also mastered soccer magic. I have been adopted into our misfit family since I was eight. Kit took me into his family after my mother was killed by my father. He was also a werewolf, but he went insane.

I was finally the last class of the day. In theater, we were building a background for the upcoming play. The only way I could help without getting in the way was by running errands. I was so clumsy. It was not safe to put a power tool in my hands. My Teacher, Mr. Black, sent me on an errand to the workshop. He wanted me to have a board cut to size.

I went across the school from the auditorium to the woodshop. I started around the shop looking for someone to cut the wood for me. It startled me when I heard movement in the back corner. I looked behind me to see broad male shoulders. Perfect.

"Would you mind cutting this for me?" I stuttered. The man turned around, but it was not a man only a teenager. He towered over me in height. His toned muscles pulled the black fabric of his shirt across his chest. His bronze skin was scattered with acne. His raven hair hung to his shoulders and hidden under his long bangs, where I expected to see dull brown eyes, were the most beautiful amazing toxic green eyes. His nose was sharp along with his other strong features. He was the most beautiful guy I have ever seen.

I stood staring at him like a fool. Neither of us said a word. I just stood awkwardly gripping the board in my hands. I quickly remembered what I was supposed to be doing.

"W-would you-u cut-t this for-r me-e", I strutted nervously showing him the piece of wood. He nodded and grabbed the wood from my hands.

I jumped a foot in the air when I heard the screech of the saw connecting with the wooden block. My heart skipped a beat even though it has not slowed since I saw him. I gazed at his back side hunched over a saw as he guided the wood in straight cuts. He flipped the saw off and placed the wood gently in my hand. His skin brushed over my hand. I felt fireworks tingling their way through my veins all the way to my heart with electricity.

"T-thank you, my name is C-Chloe by the wa-yy" I stuttered uncontrollably.

"Welcome, Derek." He mumbled. His voice was a sound deep in his chest almost like a growl, but his rose lips smirked down at me.

"Are you new-w? I h-have never see-en you hear bef-fore." I could feel a blush creep up my cheeks to my embarrassment. Derek nodded his head in answer.

"I just moved here with my family," he told me.

"Oh, ok-kay, its nice t-oo meet you-u" I strutted.

"Yeah, same to you." He said back.

"Alr-right, I'll-l let you-u get bac-ck too what you-u wer-re doi-ng." I heard a mumbled good bye and my name on his lips as I walked away. I love the way he makes my name sound… I have to see him again.
