Disclaimer: I wouldn't want to own Angel. I don't even know why the hell I watch it. And if by some odd twist of fate I owned the Olsen twins, I'd shoot myself.
Sunlight. Pure, filtered sunlight. Angel had never been a morning person, for obvious reasons, but now that the worry of bursting into flames and being swept into a dust bin was gone he laid there, basking in its warm sheet of light. He couldn't remember the last time he'd felt this. . . at peace. He had lost friends. . .and family. . .along the way, but for the first time in years their was no apocalyptic scrolls prophesying the end of the world, no evil monsters in need of vanquishing, not even a helpless girl in need of saving from an amateur vampire. Angel smiled and slowly opened his eyes to look out the window at the rays of the early morning sun shining off the sides of the LA skyscrapers. But life wasn't exactly perfect. He still had an evil law firm to run.
The bell of the elevator chimed as the doors parted. No longer wearing the usual black ensemble with matching leather jacket, Angel steeped out, now donning the garb of a business man. From the silk shirt to the gray swayed jacket, French cut slacks and Italian leather shoes, he looked every bit the wealthy corporate CEO. Employees stopped and greeted their leader with nervous respect as he made his way toward his office. He began whistling an unrecognizable tune as he passed his secretary's desk where he grabbed the awaiting morning mug of blood.
Harmony looked up. "Oh, Angel, there's something. . . "
But he took a testing sip before she could continue. "Mmm, just perfect, Harmony." He smiled as he continued toward the doors to his office.
Harmony was astounded. "Well, you sure are in a good mood today." She also smiled. Finally she was making some points with the boss. Suddenly remembering what she was supposed to tell him she quickly got out from behind her desk. "Oh, Angel, wait! There's someone. . ." But he had already opened the door and stood looking in his office, the smile on his face vanished. Harmony stopped right behind him. ". . .here to see you."

Author's note: This story has a future of highly irregular updates. I never meant to write any fan fiction, only read them, but the voices in my head are making me do it. Written for you to picture as an episode in your head as you read. I endeavor to stay away from the in depth thoughts of other people and telling stories is not my forte. Just picture what it would be like on your tv then please review. It boosts the voice's self esteem. But I'm begging you, don't flame! I'd never get them to shut up then.
