Chapter one

"Wow where are we spyro?" I asked.

We had just defeated malefor the dark master and spyro had saved the world from being blown up. Some how, we had ended up in this unbelievably, beautiful land. Large islands were floating in the horizon like clouds and the bright yellow sun was shinning. It was neither hot nor cold but perfect weather. I didn't think it was heaven because I knew when I passed on that that is not where I would go. I had to much evil in my past to be honored enough to go there. I wouldn't deserve to be happy in my afterlife. But spyro, on the other hand, he would go to heaven. He had saved the lives of billions and never hurt anybody who didn't deserve it.

"I don't know cynder, but it truly is beautiful isn't?" spyro said flying toward the largest floating island.

"Yes spyro it is" I answered smiling and looking around this world of our own. As far as I could tell it was a land of our own. No other dragons were around and it was pretty quite. We were completely alone for once.

Spyro landed on the island he had picked out more than likely for a camping spot. This island was bigger than the rest of them. It was about the size of the dragon temple. It was covered mostly in forestry and looked like it was healthy. Their must be a water source nearby I thought. Good because I was dyeing of thirst.

"spyro, are you as thirsty as I am?" I questioned after landing and walked over to him.

"Yeah actually I am. I bet there is a water source in the forest. We'll get a drink then start to build a rest area because by the looks of it were going to be here a while." He explained.

"alright" I said, following him into the forest.

We walked straight for a while and a couple times spyro had to use his earth powers to move trees and make holes in big rocks.

It took about an hour but we finally found water. It was a small pond but it was beautiful. It had a lot of lily's floating on it that were many varieties of colors from white to blue and even pink. There was lots of foliage around it to. It also had a small waterfall that constantly supplied new fresh water to the pond.

"Wow" I whispered.

Spyro walked up to the pond and bent to get a drink. I walked over too and got an idea. Instead of getting a drink I walked up behind him and through all my weight into him causing him to go head first in to the water. He stayed under for a couple seconds but finally surfaced. When he did he cam up right under the lily's and got one stuck on his horns.

By now I was out of breath laughing hysterically at him. I felt tears in my eyes from it. Then I couldn't take it and fell over. I glanced at spyro and he was trying to pull off the lilies. That only made it worse and I couldn't stop now. I kept on laughing for a while but glanced at him again and he was gone now. I still had the giggles and looked around the water. No spyro. I got up then and checked around the pond. Nope still no spyro. Then I checked behind me. Found spyro. Suddenly he slammed into me causing me to lose my balance and go face first into the water but before I made it in all the way I hooked my tail around is front feet and he went in with me.

The pond was pretty deep despite its small size. I went down about seven feet. I started swimming up toward the surface but hit something. I looked up and saw spyro above me so I went around him.
