Look

Look into the sky tonight, if you so choose.

Look at the stars as they follow their courses through eternity. Imagine the planets revolving in eternal orbit around them.

Now imagine one planet. A planet with an orange sky. A planet that has been gone for so very long. A planet long thought to be dead. A planet that left a gaping hole in the sky.

But do not weep for Gallifrey. Do not dwell upon that empty space. Look instead for the blue box. Look for it to be zooming through galaxies, past the stars and the planets and never stopping. Imagine the adventurers as they soar through time and space, slowly but steadily soaring their way home.

For you see, Gallifrey isn't dead. It's only asleep.

Author's note: Hey, folks! For any of you who know me, it's me, Zell (Zelda12343). This is my first story on this new account. I wrote in on November 23rd in honor of the Fiftieth and just never got around to publishing it. I'm not super proud of it, but we've all got to start somewhere, eh? Even if we're not really starting, just sort of moving from one place to another...oh, forget it!

Either way, please review and let me know what you thought!
