Perfect Plans

The Taisha had planned things out so perfectly, so painstakingly, but backtracking, they could still trace mistakes.

Mistakes like being content with having three fighters against the Vertixes. They hadn't been enough, hadn't been strong enough. One had died, one had lost her memories and the third had become so overwhelmingly powerful, she was a danger to them if she continued.

So they tried again, with even more care. They took the one who'd lost her memories and replanted her. They found four new girls with high aptitudes and gave them reasons to fight. Five was more than three, and three had been close. They didn't want the girls too powerful after all.

They held one back just in case. Until it became apparent that four wouldn't be enough either.

Their next problem was the Mankai. Their costs – and the questions raised from them. They brushed them off for a time, but it soon became impossible. This group had come further than the first but now they were finished as well. Finished and dangerous, if the word escaped.

It was enough proof to say they couldn't use Mankai anymore.

So they would find a way for the girls to be strong enough without it, and a way to seal it before it burst out with their uncontrollable passion. Both seemed like impossible tasks at first glance, but the Taisha analysed every corner, combed every thread.

They created another perfect plan and put it into action.
