Kowalski locked himself in the storage room with his Jiggles and the helpless Julian trapped inside him, he grumbled to himself while throwing fruit by the flipper full into Jiggles.

"True genius is never appreciated in it's time, NO. Not by little birdies with TINY little BIRD BRAINS!" he mocked to himself, then smiled and turned toward his creation.

"Sweet, oozing Jiggles, you are the only life form who understands me." he cooed while embracing Jiggles.

Suddenly, Kowalski felt his flipper sink into the gelatinous blob, soon he felt it forcibly sucking in his whole arm, which have way to his entirety being sucked into his abomination. Kowalski's face soon turned to despair and confusion.

"We…we had an understanding." he said with disappointment.

No sooner did Julian swoop down upside-down face to face with Kowalski.

"Oh now it's a problem." he said almost childishly.

"How could I've been so blind….WHAT HAVE I DONE?" Kowalski said, his body shaking.

"I'll tell you what you've done, gone nutso!" Julian said having his hands for emphasis.

"No, you don't understand!" he fired back, leaving the lemur dumbstruck.

"Why does everything I do always blow up in my face? How come nothing ever turns out right for me?" Kowalski continued while the lemur starred in an awkward silence.

Kowalski placed his head in his flippers and softly began to cry.

"How come every time I try to help or better someone it always fails? I just don't understand."

Feeling more sorry for the penguin, Julian inched closer.

"Everything I create always backfires, endangers someone, I-I…..maybe I am just a failure." Kowalski said fighting through tears.

"Skipper would always count on me, and all I do is…is…hold him back." having enough, Kowalski finally let all his anger, frustration and sadness.

Since Julian was the only one there, Kowalski threw himself on the lemur and cried. Julian felt a strong pity to him, and comforted Kowalski. Then he brought his head up to his.

"Uh you know, everyone makes mistakes." Julian said in a most caring tone.

"But…but nothing ever turns out right, maybe I'm just a failure as a scientist."

Julian then covered his beak.

"No, no more talkie like that, you keep putting yourself down the longer you stay down." Kowalski starred through his swollen tear stained eyes, he couldn't believe Julian was comforting him, yet he was glad he was.

"You are a very lucky penguin, to have friends who trust you so much, you think they care about your sciency stuff? They care about you…..among other people." he said softly on the last part.

Kowalski wiped his tears and smiled at Julian.

"Thank you Julian, I-I'm sorry you had to see me like this." Julian then embraced Kowalski and said softly.

"No, I'm sorry for not being there sooner."

There embrace soon grew more, their faces pressed against each others, and for once both of them felt bliss. But that bliss fleeted as a loud grumbling and growling came from the depths of Jiggles, spitting them both out and slamming them against the wall.

Covered in green jelly and in an odd position Kowalski decided to break the silence.

"So….that happened."

Julian gazed at Kowalski.

"I wouldn't mind staying like this." Kowalski gazed back.

"Neither would I."
