The doors of the Bruce's mansion opened revealing a grand living room. Kori and Richard stepped in with Alfred holding their suitcases. In Kori's arms was a small and cute baby girl by the name of Mari Grayson. "Master Bruce would be coming shortly" he said as he ran up to Richard's room to put the suitcases in. Richard wandered over his old house. Nothing Changed. He thought to himself silently as he watched Kori rocked the baby back and forth. Footsteps were then heard from outside. Bruce still in his business suit came inside. Richard and Bruce stared at each other until Kori cleared her throat. "Thank for letting us stay her Knorfa Bruce. What a lovely home." Bruce nodded in her direction and pointed at the stairs."You know where your room is make yourself at home." With that said, he stalked out of the room with his head held high and disappeared.

Richard and Kori walked up the stairs together. Richard didn't want to stay here. But what can he do, where else is he going to stay with Titans Tower no longer in maintenance. He didn't have time to search for an apartment with the baby and Kori. Garfeild and Rachel were in Africa tending to the animals and Cyborg was in his honeymoon with Sarah in Europe. The other Titans were either on missions or busy tending their own family.

Opening the door to his old room, he saw nothing was moved but it seems like Alfred might have vacuumed and dusted in there. All of his superman posters were still on the wall and all of his "toys" that were never completed were still on his desk. Miniature airplanes were still hanged over their heads. Their suitcases sat on the bed and Kori immediately put down the baby in a crib Alfred built in the corner and started to unpack. Richard left to go to the bathroom to take a well earned shower.

After another fifteen minutes, the baby started to cry. Kori rushed over and picked her up. She tried burping her, feeding her milk, changing her diaper, and combing her hair. Nothing worked. Staring and the baby and trying to brainstorm ideas, she noticed small bags around the baby's eyes. She gulped. How do you put a baby to sleep? She thought for a minute. She saw this one show where the mother sang a lullaby to her baby and that worked but she was never a good singer. Her singing usually cleared to room. But she has to for her child. Gingerly, she rocked it back and forth. Taking a deep breath, she started to sing.

It's a little bit funny, this feeling inside

I'm not one of those who can easily hide

I don't have much money, but boy if I did

I'd buy a big house where we both could live

And you can tell everybody this is your song

It may be quite simple, but now that it's done

How wonderful life is now you're in the world
If I was a sculptor, but then again no

know it's not much, but it's the best I can do

My gift is my song, and this one's for you
And you can tell everybody this is your song

I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind that I put down in words

How wonderful life is now you're in the world

She stopped and stared at the baby. Mari was peacefully asleep. Before placing her back in her crib, she kissed her forehead gently. Tired and overwhelmed, she lay down and closed her eyes.
