Chapter 1
"Caspian, will you ever learn how to hold a bow not just a crossbow," Susan exclaimed teasingly.
Ever since they met, Caspian never got the hang of holding a bow properly because he was brought up on the Telmarine crossbow. Susan was trying to teach him ever since they defeated the Telmarine army and had made Caspian King.
"Well you don't need to be so pushy about it" Caspian whined.
"Sorry I'm being pushy," Susan said, "I should give you more time and let you catch on when you want to."
"That's okay. Sorry I'm being grouchy" Caspian replied back.
"Oh it's perfectly normal," Susan exclaimed before peter cut her off.
"Hi Su! Oh Hi Caspian! Lucy is just wondering if you guys want to come on a picnic for lunch?" Peter asked
"Oh, we'd love to," they both said in unison.
"Great, Lucy will be thrilled," Peter exclaimed happily, "i'll help you pack up. Ed's getting the horses for us."
As soon as Caspian, Peter, and Susan finished cleaning up the archery supplys Lucy came in and said, " Lets go already! Su I got a nice dress for you to wear, come to my room."
Lucy led Susan to her room and they put on the lovely dresses that were cool, comfy, and easy to ride in.
"Thanks Lu!" Susan exclaimed happily.
"Come on! Lets go!" Peter yelled from the hallway.
"Okay, Okay. We're coming," Lucy yelled back.
Susan opened the door and they headed out to find Peter waiting for them. Lucy closed the door behind her and follows the others down the stairs. When they got down they headed for the stables, tacked their horses, and started riding down the road to the beach not far from where the rebuilt Cair Paravel was.
The castle had been restored to it's former glory and some extensions were made to make it more glorious. It took some time though but it was worth it. It looked amazing.
The road down had to be slanted so that people wouldn't fall down the cliff getting to the sea. It didn't go down the cliff side anyway though, it went through the edge of the forrest some bit cause it was easier to get down.
The forrest itself had many animals and very few were non-talking ones. All the talking ones disposed of the non-talking ones but some remained.
For the Pevencies the walk through the forrest was lovely except for one thing.
GROWL
GRUNT
SNARL
"ack what was that?" Screamed Susan.
A bear had snuck up on them and was prepared to attack. Susan pulled out her bow and was going to shoot it while her brothers were pulling out their swords but Caspian was ahead of them all and shot perfectly at it with his bow.
"Amazing Caspian!" Peter said.
"Wow!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Cool!" Edmund said.
Susan just sat there stunned and didn't know what to say, Caspian looked a bit embarrassed and blushed.
"I guess that your training payed off Susan," Lucy said.
"Ha ha! I guess it did," Susan replied.
