10:50 Am. Riku's typically a morning kid, rising around six even when he doesn't want to. But today he's still in bed with the shades drawn, curled up under his favorite dark purple comforter. There is a soft knock at his door, and Riku automatically pulls the comforter up over his head.

"Ri-kuuu!" It's Sora. "Riku come on, what are you doing inside it's perfect to be on the water today!"

"Sora," Riku turns to look at him. "I have a splitting headache. The light hurts my eyes, and noise is even worse. So you can either go out to the island by yourself, or you can stay here and shut up."

Sora raises an eyebrow at him. "You serious?" he asks quietly. Riku groans and turns away. "Ookay."

Riku expects his friend to leave, but his eyes shoot wide open when he feels the blanket lifted, exposing his half-naked self to the cool air outside his little cocoon. Sora slides into the bed behind him and hesitantly slips his arm around Riku's torso, hand coming to rest over his racing heart. "Sora, what the hell are you doing?" Sora nuzzles his forehead against the back of Riku's neck and Riku stiffens even more.

"I decided to stay here," Sora murmurs, "and what else is there to do besides this?" He kisses the spot just above Riku's shoulder blade.

Riku sighs and rolls his eyes. Sora's just too unpredictable.
