NaruHina, cause it's sweet and non-slash (my doctor said some non-slash would be good for me.)

And remember kids, obsessive tendencies are bad.
The sky is way too bright for Hinata's mood. And the grass is too soft and the air is too clear and the clouds are much too care-free.

Did I mention Naruto is too happy?

Hinata lays on her back in the grass, and the breeze brushes so softly over her features and makes her sigh out loud. She can see the sky clearly and hear Naruto laugh, and everything would be so perfect, if only he knew. She can relate to Sakura and Ino a little bit, they must feel like this when Sasuke rejects them in every way. Well maybe not exactly like this.

At least Sasuke knows.

Hinata's slender fingers find their way through her tousled hair, and her eyes close while she breaths in Naruto's and Sakura's and Sasuke's conversation. It can be so tempting to use the Byukugan, to see Naruto again. Even if he'll never know, or never care, or never want to. It's still a nice sight.

So she waits, because today could be the day she gets the guts to talk to him, or maybe just smile and wave, or just wave...

Down the hill, where the trees start and where the air gets thicker, Naruto is training, and thinking. Not necesarilly thinking about Hinata, but then again not thinking about another girl. But every now and then the possibilities have gone through his head.

And Hinata's not bad.

Not bad at all.
It's a little vauge and I can't spell Byukugan, but I hope you got what I meant, oh yes and don't bother to comment on the shortness, I just write that way, and its not going to change.

Do I smell a second chapter, probably not but you can change my mind. R&R!
