What Do You Say? (Green)

AN: He's so divine, I wish he were mine….
But noooooo, all rights belong to J.K. Rowling…I love Harry! T.T But alas, I don't own anything but my pitiful little fics…
Oh well, on to see how many people I can confuse again…Here are some thoughts "from" Ginevra Weasley (not Virginia, as I found out today). Oh, how Tom Riddle was hot, too…too bad he's 3v1L beyond belief.

Dear Diary,
What do you say about a first year wrapped in chaos?
Do you speak of elbows in butter dishes? Red spreading over freckled skin? Taking a stand against a frightening pure blood bastard, when you are so obviously small and weak, for a boy who has faced much greater horrors than a bully and his father? For a boy who hardly notices you're there?
Do you speak of how you watched their company? Of your bitterness towards your closest brother, who seems to have forgotten you? How you envied a girl who had his…and his…attention when you were just invisible? How agitated his green eyes looked when he got that Valentine? How you wanted to kill the Twins for sending it?
Perhaps you should speak of the greater conflict you bore? The one of green burning a cold fire into your heart. The heart you poured out to an accursed book. Green, searing through your soul from within the pages. How you once asked about how he looked, and how the green captured you. So like his green, yet different. A green that was just alluring, but would drag you into the darkness. A lot of green.
Seducing you.
Then a different green would come along. All this green, you'd think one would have woken in Elysium. I thought so too. When I opened my eyes, and I saw green, I was so scared …but this green was warm, and comforting…sad, but protective and hopeful. And pleading. For me. And I felt such a brilliant joy. The cold green was gone, replaced with the warm loving green of life. This green was Elysium, right then.
But Elysium was never meant for me, apparently.
This green, after I was ok, had turned away again, to not noticing me. As if there was never that first threatening green.
I am glad that his eyes aren't lying beneath the pages of this book, waiting, burning green right trough me…but I catch myself missing it every now and then. Missing a green that wants to reach out to my heart, and set a flame to it. A green that will notice me.

AN: Well, what'd you think? My first completed Harry Potter fic. I'm thinking about making another journal entry fic to accompany this one…possibly one for several characters. I have another Harry fic in the works (another angst/drama), the first one I've ever written, but I'm kind of getting stuck in places with it. Please leave a review, I really want to know what you think so I may possibly continue with this one.
