Franky hadn't known the full extent of what he was doing when he made it. Well, he did know that they would like it, but this?
He walked to the hold, thinking about the unnecessary additions to his work.
A sapling making its home in a coffee cup sat next to the steam stack
"It's dreary in here. This brightens it up a bit. Besides, it's only for a little while. It does need sun eventually. Maybe I'll go for a little ride."
And the small sack of salt that was stored in the compartment in the back. Damnit, there wasn't even any place to cook on the vessel!
"Salt is the staple in all food. That's a basic lesson to in cooking. Without it, there is no way I can keep my pride as a cook."
Then there was the mortar and pestle that were sitting in the back seat. Heaven knows there were plenty of better places to work, but he still came down here with his lantern.
"This is a good atmosphere for medicine."
Directly next to the mortar sat a book. That damn woman.
"It's such an intriguing book. Oh, the ship. Well that doesn't matter as long as no one is using it, right? And I've got a lantern to read, see? I see no problem."
Just to the right of the steering wheel was the Strawhat jollyroger carved and painted into the wood.
"Well, there is no way to fly a flag so, but it doesn't feel right to not have a flag, you know…or maybe not…Haha, well it's too late now! The Great Pirate Usopp has already put his mark on this ship! Bwahahaha!"
At least neither of the remaining crew left anything. However…
"It just comfortable, that's all. Now could you leave me alone? I'm trying to sleep."
It seemed as though there was only one crew member who never visited the vessel. Well at least he thought so, but he heard a crash and the whine of his mighty captian dragging himself around the ship's hold. It took one look at the Strawhat leader to realize that he was still asleep as he moved haphazardly around. Franky watched as he stumbled into the ship and crawled on the bow of the ship, head resting on the top of the ram's head and lower body in front seat.
"I missed you…Merry. Let's…go on…another adventure…together."
Franky pushed his hair back, as tears fell freely from his eyes
"It's just…too…beautiful, treating their ship…as nakama. Such a strong bond!"

A/N: And there you have it. It's just a drabble that I thought up one day. I was ridiculously happy along with the Strawhat crew when I saw Mini Merry 2. I hope you enjoyed it.
