Goddess

Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin and I make no money from this fanfiction.

For Arthur, Gwen is a Queen; remote, regal and out of reach. He's always careful with her, afraid to touch her for fear of spoiling her. She's an untouchable ideal that inspires him to uphold the values of truth and justice. In his opinion she is flawless.

It's different for Morgana; she's long known Gwen as a maidservant although she has long since vacated that position. She sees Gwen as the embodiment of a goddess; earthy and sensuous. Morgana loves to run her hands along the curves and contours of Gwen's body, seeing a universe in Gwen's brown eyes.

No, she isn't perfect like Arthur thinks; she's far too real for that. She's sweet and soft but she is no fawn, she is the hunter, ensnaring all around her with her beautiful little traps. It's Gwen's own sort of magick, far more powerful that Morgana's own brand of sorcery. You never even knew you were falling under spell; it was subtle, like that moment between dreaming and waking.

Morgana knows to live is to spend her life enthralled in worship to her goddess, secretly hanging on every word that drops from her lips like fallen leaves and Morgana is happy to serve.

Please, review, I love reviews so much!
