"Remus…" The voice was so quiet at first Remus didn't think he heard it. It was winter time, and only he and Sirius were left. It was out of choice for the both of them, not really wanting to go home. Remus stayed because his mother was worrying more than ever as it was his last year. Sirius had stayed because he really didn't want to go home to an empty house.

"Remus..!"This time it sounded more urgent and Remus sat up quickly, opening his curtain and getting out. He made his way over to Sirius' bed and opened it.

What he got in his eye sight was a sleeping Sirius, looking terrified out of his wits. This wasn't the first time that Sirius had a nightmare, and it was usually Remus being the one getting up and making him feel better.

Not to say that the other four in their dorm didn't wake up, they just didn't care. James cared, but at three in the morning he wasn't in his most loving.

There was a lot to fear in Remus' heart when his usually strong and confident best friend was a jumbled mess. It wasn't something that he liked to see, but he didn't want the other to deal with it alone.

It was probably something to do with the fact that Sirius was finally out of his parent's claw and he didn't really know how to deal with that.

Crawling into the bed, Remus gently shook the other awake, watching as he saw the feared look on his face.

"You okay?" He asked, a concerned tone to his voice as Sirius snuggled his way into his chest and yawned a bit. They had gotten so close that this closeness didn't really matter.

With Lily and James being together, Remus and Sirius had spent more time together, alone then they had in a while. So this touching wasn't much different then how they were alone.

"Yeah, just another nightmare." Sirius whispered, shutting his eyes and relaxing against his friend. Fingers gently moved through his hair as he sighed, getting over what had happened in his dream.

"What was this one about?" Remus asked curiously, watching his friend with a cautious eye. He'd never gotten the dreams out of the other, but he had none the less asked every single time the other had one.

"You." Sirius said quietly, which caused a bit of an awkward silence to be between the two for a few heartbeats.

"What happened?" Remus asked, trying to keep things calm and going because this was the most Sirius had told him.

"I…" Sirius started but then stopped. Their eyes met for a second, and within that second, Sirius being the not too subtle person, had tackled the other and pressed a hot kiss to his lips.

"What are you doing!" Remus exclaimed, managing to push the other off him and glare at him. His heart was pounding in his chest, not sure what exactly was going on.

"I knew it…" Sirius said, falling onto his back and staring up at the ceiling, not looking exactly happy with the outcome.

"Knew what?" Remus asked carefully crawling bit so that he could see Sirius' face

"I've been having nightmares that if I kissed you, you'd reject it." Sirius said, almost accusing the other of something he had no idea about.

"I didn't reject you!" Remus cried out, maybe it was the lack of sleep but the thought of rejecting Sirius to him was just insane. Leaning down, he pressed a kiss to the other's lips, which was quickly returned.

"Can't reject you." Remus said as he pulled up for air, but that didn't last long as he was pulled down into another kiss.
