Okay... --deep breath-- Don't kill me for this, please!!! I started and completed this before Fluffballs was even an idea!!! DX

This is for ThiefSuzy, so I hope you like it, Thief-san!

Oh, and also; Never allow me to watch 'Doctor Who' if you want faster updates, no matter how cool of a show it is. :) I am now obsessed with Daleks.

Stars are Perfection

Three months. That's how long it had been since they had gotten together. Three long, long months.

And, as was habit, Deidara was staring at the stars again, grinning as Sasori stepped towards the spot once more.

He sat next to the blond, looking at the stars with her. "I don't get why you like looking at them so much..." He stated blandly, glancing over at her as she blinked, pulling her feet out of the water below and crossing them in front of her.

"Because they're perfect." She answered after a moment, just as a shooting star streaked through the sky above. Sasori rose a brow at her, looking back to the sky as a few more stars shot through his vision.

He shook his head after a moment. "And how would that be? I thought you liked things that were temporary, not forever." She smiled, leaning her head onto his shoulder as he wrapped an arm around her.

She shrugged lightly, closing her eyes for a moment. "The ones that shine the brightest are both." He looked to her confusedly, a small fog setting in at the late hour as they sat on the cliff edge.

"Really now?" He half asked with a small grin, eyeing the crescent moon as the chilly night air swept along the grass. "How so?"

She nuzzled into his neck, grinning again. "The ones that shine the brightest have exploded, but they stay around for a long time afterwards." Sasori blinked this time, frowning as he breezed over what he remembered of stars and the like, before smiling and kissing the blonds forehead.

His smile widened as she lifted her head to glare at him playfully, and then he kissed her right on the lips. "So they're the perfect art..." She nodded after a moment.

They both twitched as a voice came from behind them. "Deidara-sempai, Sasori-sempai! What are doing out there without jackets?!" They laughed lightly at the immature Tobi as he continued to yell out indiscernible, panicked questions at them.

"I am the Silence, creating your fear.

I am the Moon, bringing eerie shadows to life.

I am the Wind, circling the corner, coming for you.

I am the Akatsuki Neko. Bringer of Death."

And remember; don't let your kitty eat garlic or onions! --Daleks shoot at her for one reason or another as she begins running-- Oh, come on!
