Peter was glad for the accursed form that allowed him to be close to Alice. He loathed being seen in such a weak looking appearance, but he would tolerate the laughter for her. There was no space in between him and Alice, and his ears quivered with silent joy. Her warmth calmed his rapidly beating clock, and the sound of her thumping heart brought a rare smile to his face.
Leave me alone, I don't care about your love!
He bit his lip. That didn't matter. What mattered was that he was with Alice. As long as he had her...
I hate you. The way you dispose of lives so thoughtlessly... it's disgusting.
None of it mattered. Not even her feelings. His paws clenched. It's not like anyone else had any worth. Only him and Alice. They were the only ones who counted. Why couldn't she understand? He was protecting her.
Stop, Peter! He wasn't doing anything!
He touched you. Those filthy animals couldn't be trusted around his Alice. They couldn't comprehend how precious she was. She was his queen. She was his everything. He didn't know what he would do without her.
I love you. Your beauty surpasses the drops of dew. I'll protect you, no matter what it takes, even getting killed with a gun, knife, or stake. When you cry, I die. I want to be by your side, through rain and shine.
He always thought of her. He wished this moment would last forever, but knew it was not to be. Peter closed his eyes, and snuggled closer. He would love her, no matter what.
