Tears.

What are tears?

Cats don't cry tears.

We don't shed them as you silly Two-Legs do, wasting salt water on things that don't matter.

You cry because you drop a "phone" down a "toilet".

You cry at a broken "toy".

It is scientifically proven crying, however, releases stress and after crying, you feel better.

But cats can't cry.

Most importantly, I can't cry.

Even after all I've been through, losing my entire family,

I

still

can't

cry.

I just stand there, on their graves, dry-eyed and silent.

Because cats can't express themselves through tears.

Not like the way you do.

The only way I can express myself these days

is scream.

Make choking noises.

And the only place I do these things, where I release my emotions

is by the willow.
