The setting is Mr. Matthews's house. As Maya cries her eyes out after facing Kermit, Riley comes through the window.

"Peaches, what's wrong?" Riley said.

"I-" Maya struggles to say a word as she begins sobbing uncontrollably. Riley hugs her best friend, and, as a result of all this hugging, Maya calms down.

"What's wrong? Tell me." Riley said, concerned about her friend.

"H-h-h-he was supposed to be there for me. I-I-I-I don't know what made him leave. I-I c-couldn't f-f-forgive him." Maya tearily said

"Did you forgive yourself?" Riley said.

"I don't think so," Maya said

"My dad always taught us to forgive each other. Isn't that the whole point of the project that we did a few days ago?"

"I guess so," Maya said.

"Maya, when my parents were young, they did some horrible things. They very nearly never became my parents. Imagine what your life would be like without me?"

They both imagine the same thing, before shaking in terror. "Yikes!" They both said.

"Riles? I think that the project was too much for me."

"Too much? When I tried to forgive Auggie for biting the head of my teddy bear the first time, it backfired. I felt horrible. Farkle told everyone the results of the movie before it even started. There's a term for that, and it's called 'spoilers'. I looked it up online myself. My dad wanted to teach us that forgiveness is human nature. What you displayed that day was a very emotional form of forgiveness. Even though you couldn't forgive him, you did learn one thing. Catharsis is very hard for themselves, and he performed an act of said term for you." Riley said

"I guess you're right," Maya said

"Peaches, I'm there for you whenever you need me, OK?"

"OK," Maya said

That night, Maya came out of her room and noticed that Smackle, Farkle, Auggie, Lucas, Zay, and Ava were standing in the middle of the living room.

"Maya. We feel so sorry your father neglected you. We just came to remind you that you'll never feel abandoned again," Lucas said

"Awwwwww. That's so sweet! Thank you, guys." Maya tearily said.

"You're welcome," Ava said.

They spent the rest of the night giving Maya presents and treats and everything in between.

So, that was my representation of the events following Girl Meets the Forgiveness Project. Tell me what you guys think. It's not perfect, but it's good enough.
