A/N: Heyy. My first post here. & I know it's sucky, but I couldn't resist. I love Percedes.
I don't anything besides my own creativity. If I did, Mercedes Jones would already push Man-Hands off the stage, and become the lead character. :D

The Rules:

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.

2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.

3. Write a drabble/ficlet related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!

4. Do five of these, then post them.

Song One: Turning Tables (Gwyneth Paltrow; Duration: 2:47)

She couldn't do it anymore. Once, twice.. it was all enough.
There was no more strength to fight it.
She had watched the flurry of emotions in his face...
Worry, despair, disappointment, anger, fear, resignation.

He had broken her heart once, so it was fitting that she break his.
She had seen the light in his eyes when talking of her, someone she couldn't compete with.
He had a daughter, and Mercedes would always come second-best.

Song Two: Everything I Do (Brandy; 4:11)

"Look into my eyes, you will see..." she sang, oblivious to the look of adoration coming from him.
Wasn't it ironic that she sang this song all the time, when all he wanted to do was make her realise that this song was his promise to her?

He closed his eyes as he made his way out of Glee practise. If he didn't tell her soon, there would be no way he'd come clean of his feelings.
Why were feelings so damn hard anyway? Why couldn't he cope with what he was used to? But somehow sleeping around, and acting like a badass wasn't the right thing anymore.
Noah Puckerman wanted to promise his entire life, soul and heart to Mercedes Jones, but he was afraid of the outcome.

"You know it's true, everything I do, I do it for you..."

Song Three: Waada Raha (Khakee; 4:35)

"I never thought I'd make it here. I never thought I'd be standing here telling you all that you deserve to be told. I love you with all my heart. There is no telling you how long I have loved you. Kurt, Finn and Quinn might say it was from the blessed week we dated. But I disagree. I believe I have always loved you, ever since preschool, when you pushed Mitchell into the sandbox for teasing my Jewish belief.

I promise my life to you Mercedes. I promise to never leave you. I promise to always make you your favourite breakfast on Sunday mornings, even when we've been married 30yrs and our kids can make it for you. I promise to be there at every step of our life."

Song Four: Kaun Hai Ajnabi (Game; 3:49)

Well hello stranger.

Not for long.

Oh, I'm looking forward to this.

You should. It's not everyday I see a mama walk in with more curves than a Nissan ad.

"Puck? Instead of undressing her with your eyes, maybe you should go and actually talk to her," complained Finn.

Which is what he did.

Song Five: Zara Zara (Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein; 4:58)

She stood there, not wanting to believe she had finally scored a date with the very unattainable Noah Puckerman.
Which is why she sat on her porch for three hours, waiting for the first man to ever truly appreciate her (or so she thought).
Which is why, when she finally realised he wasn't going to come, she stayed sitting there, refusing to give into the snarky voice (urgh, damn that Santana) inside her head.
Which is why the next day at Glee practise, Mercedes gave Puck a taste of his own medicine - she became the woman he drooled over, but could never get.

A/N2: Read & review. I might continue my song shuffle drabbles. I don't know. *giggles*
