Here we are. Stood on the battlefield outside the Hiccup's mother's Dragon Sanctuary. My wings and hair blew gently in the wind as I soared through the sky, destroying traps and freeing dragons. It's handy being half human and half dragon sometimes.

Then suddenly an arrow was fired at me, it pierced my black armour and plummeted into my chest. I let out an ear-splitting shriek as I fell to the ground.

Hiccup, my best friend was at my side as soon as I hit the ground.

"Toothless?" he whispered gently, receiving a groan of pain in response.

Blood seeped out of my wound and onto the white snow. Valka, Stoick and Astrid saw me laying on the ground and rushed over. The colour drained out of my features as the blood loss was effecting me.

"Please bud, stay with me, you're my best friend Toothless, you really are." Hiccup muttered as me breathing weakened.

Tears streamed down Hiccup's features. I hated seeing people upset but right now I was even biting back my own tears. My eyes glanced around as Drago walked over laughing. He aimed a crossbow at me but as he fired the arrow Hiccup blocked it as it plunged into him.

"No!" I screamed as my best friend collapsed beside me, his blood all over him.

Hiccup looked at me and whispered, "I'm sorry I just couldn't watch you die alone." That's when I finally let the tears stream from my eyes. This couldn't be happening. Why did Hiccup have to get himself involved. He couldn't just let me die right there an then, he had to save me from Drago by getting himself hurt. He can be so stupid sometimes.

My breathing became extremely slow and weak and so did Hiccup's.

We looked at each other and said, "True Best Friends don't die alone, they die together."

And with that our eyes closed and we slipped into the darkness known as death.
