Just a short one shot for the couple that deserves it the most!

Fred was sitting on top of a rock, high above anything but the clouds. Cordelia walked up from behind her and kneeled down next to her calmly

"Hey Fred" Cordelia smiled sweetly at Fred. Fred arrived here just a short time after Cordy had. They didn't know where they were exactly, but it was a nice place, a pleasant place

"Hi Cordy" she said back, unable to give her a grin in return

"How are you feeling?" she asked carefully, after all Fred didn't die in peace like she did. Cordy did everything she wanted to do when she finally passed. Of course she missed Angel but she knew deep down he would be okay and she'd always have him

"Oh you know, content but with that big gapey empty feeling that just cant seem to leave me alone" Fred resisted the urge to ramble on and on. Cordy looked up suddenly then grinned

"Well I should be going now, I've got that thing to do" she smoothed down her flowing white dress and skipped off out of sight. Fred put her chin in her hands and shrugged off the confusion, what could Cordy possibly have to do here in a heavenly dimension of all places?

"Fred?" a heart breaking yet familiar voice called from behind her, she turned around slowly, preparing to see nothing but disappointment

"W…" was all she could manage as she saw the man she died loving walk towards her with a grin stretched across his face

"Fred, is that really you?" he questioned as she sprinted towards him and threw her arms around him tightly

"You're here, its really you!" she beamed, suddenly the empty feeling just lifted away. She let her hands explore his face but her eyes never left his for even a second. For her this was truly heaven

"I've missed you," he cooed as he returned the embrace

"Does this mean you died?" she asked, suddenly guilty for being so happy

"It means I'm with you now" he corrected as their noses touched and she grinned joyfully and then giggled

"I'm with my book man," she laughed as his lips met hers. Wonderful warmth she'd almost forgotten after the time she'd spent alone without him suddenly felt so natural.

"And I'm with my Fred" he whispered as their lips locked once again

"Always" she sighed happily

"Forever"

Short but sweet, I've never read a story where they meet up again so I went and wrote one myself! Enjoy all you Fred and Wes lovers!
