"I saw the way you were looking at her!", she yelled at him.

"I have no idea what you're talking about Korra!", he yelled back.

"The way you and Bolin were looking at that girl in the park! I know you two were checking her out!", she accused.

"Huh? What? Oh...", he sighed.

"Yeah! Oh! What the hell Mako?! Why would you-"

"I wasn't checking her out Korra.", he interrupted.

"Then what were you doing looking at her?", she asked sternly.

"Bo and were laughing at her. Cause she lost her glasses and she kept bending over cause couldn't find her glasses. Bo was the one checking her out Korra.", he explained.

"Well-I-uh..."

"Korra, why does it bother you when I look at other girls?"

"Because...because..."

"Korra, do you think you're not good enough for me?", he asked.

She froze. She turned away from him, and looked down at the wood floor of his apartment. He couldn't believe she was thinking like this. He reached out and touched her shoulder, and gently turned her back around, to be greeted by tears rolling down her cheeks. His expression went from confused, to concern. His thumb brushed over her cheek as he wiped away her tears.

"What could ever make you think that you're not good enough?", he asked in a loving tone.

"Because...I'm not pretty.", she said through sobs.

He pondered it for a minute.

"You're right. You're not pretty."

She looked straight at him, as she felt like she was stabbed in the chest.

"You're beautiful."

She gasped at the words. She snuggled herself into his shoulder, and wrapped her arms around him as he returned the embrace.

"Don't even think for a second you aren't good enough. You're my life, my one and only. Don't you dare think I would trade you for anything, or anyone." He kissed her forehead as he ran his fingers through her hair. "I love you. And you're the only person who will ever hear those words from me."
