Chapter One: The First Night

When I first arrived at Purfock Prep I never knew I would feel like this; actually I never knew I could feel like this. A deep sensation of love and lust down somewhere in my heart and emerged when I saw him.

Then moment we arrived I though that this could not be long term this place is horrid. Well I was right about half of it. The other half I found out was totally wrong when I first stepped into Mr. Remora's class. Instead of watching the banana obsessed teacher blab on and on about pointless stories, I watched him. Once the bell rang and we were walking out of the classroom I knew it was my chance to put on my girlish charm. We were walking out threw the door I 'accidentally' bumped into him and then dropped my books. He was a very kind and compassionate person so he helped me pick up my books.

"I am so sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you." I said in a flirty voice.

"Oh no it was my fault." He said.

I though to myself, "He is so kind."

"By the way my name is Duncan." He said.

"My name is Violet"

Now I had a name for the face.

Then and there I knew he would be kind, I knew he would never hurt me. It was in his smile.

"Smile, Smile oh what a smile,

It should only now be a little while."

I met his sister, Isadora, that day at lunch. She was a very interesting character. Izzy as he called her seemed to be happy, but in her eyes you could see the pain and confusion of the past and I wondered if she could see it in mine. Klaus liked her, I knew because she was his type, hidden and locked up.Also that day we learned why they were not twins.

"The brave rest the timid rise,

In an ocean not ready for most eyes."

Isadora is an amazing poet. When she sang these couplets they were more intense than if spoken.

That night was the performance of Vice Principle Nero. According to his own ego he was the best Violin Player ever to strike a note. But to the audiences ears that playing should have been punishable by death.

LATER THAT NIGHT

"That was horrible and he thinks he is a genius at the violin. I never knew someone could play that bad."

"I told you… Violet."

The way he said my name, it was filled with want and lust. I knew he wanted me and I wanted him.

"Hey Violet would you like to see my um note collection of um notes up in my room, my private room that is all mine and my sister's dorm is way on the other side on the dormitories and I don't know the boys around me?"

That was a very stupid question, of course I did but I knew I couldn't be to forward, for it is not proper for a lady to do so.

"Sure Duncan but I don't think that I am allowed to go into the dormitories especially the boys."

"Well I think this is am exception."

We walked to his room carefully so we wouldn't get caught. We came to his room walked in and shut the door without a sound.

"Violet are you ready?"

"Yes." I said confidently.

" I won't hurt you."

"I trust you."

Brief pause for dramatic affect

(Jeopardy theme song and…NOW)

"Duncan wait! I can't do this." I said as I was lying on his bed. "I know better than to do this. I am not old enough. I just want comfort not this and I know that now."

"Violet from the first time I saw you I knew that I loved you. So to respect you and your wishes I will wait for you. And in the mean time I will comfort you as you wish."

(I know this seems like it will never happen but hey neither do romantic movies!)

" Thank you Duncan that is all I ask for."

" I love you Violet."

" I love you too, Duncan."
