Aria Zabini sighed as she rolled out of bed. It was eleven o'clock in the morning and she truly did not want to get up. Victor's family was constantly sending her Howler's, demanding that she give them the money that he had left her. They had the delusional idea that he had been enchanted by her, and that she had killed him before he could become saved. It was honestly ridiculous. She had killed most of her husbands, but Victor's she had no part in. She had honestly liked him and could have seen herself falling in love with him someday. She might have even changed her name for him, which she had never considered for any man before.

Aria got up and looked into the mirror. Beautiful as ever. Her elfin features had not changed over time and she looked no different than she had when she had given birth to Blaise seventeen years ago. She never wanted to grow old, and never could understand the people who wanted to. Aria wanted to go out young and bright and alive, not old and rotting and mindless.

Aria was still young. But she knew it wouldn't be long until she was not.
