Kurt sat in his usual spot under the bleachers, smoking a cigarette during his chemistry period. He shivered a little, pulling his thin, ripped sweater tighter around his shoulders. It looked good on him, but it didn't help in the cold December weather.

Kurt was alone outside; not even the other skanks would brave the near freezing temperatures for a smoke.

He felt himself shiver again before he heard someone walking behind him. "Kurt, you should head inside, you'll freeze out here." The kid that sat next to him in chemistry, Blaine, was coming under the bleachers.

"You really care that much, nerd? I thought I told you to leave me alone."

Blaine looked a little hurt at this, but Kurt just threw his cigarette on the ground and stomped it out. He leaned back against the metal supports under the bleachers, unable to stop another shiver from racking his body.

"If you insist on staying out here, at least take my jacket." Blaine said, sliding it off and holding it out to Kurt.

Kurt glared at the shorter boy. "I don't need your charity."

Blaine's big, sad eyes looked up at the skank pleadingly. Kurt sighed and stomped off towards the school, Blaine following behind like a lost puppy. Kurt's combat boots kicked through the newly fallen snow, and the two boys walked back into the high school.

They headed to the choir room, noticing the next period had started. Kurt was still grumbling about being forced into the Glee club, while Blaine had a bounce in his step, excited about whatever Christmas song the New Directions would be singing that day.

Blaine paused in the doorway of the choir room, making Kurt almost run into him. He glanced up, a nervous grin on his face.

"Move along, hobbit. The sooner we get in the sooner we get out."

Blaine smiled at him. "Look, mistletoe!"

Kurt glared at him. "If you think I'll... Umfff." Blaine had stood on his tip toes and pressed his lips against Kurt's. The whole glee club watched in surprise as Blaine kept his lips on Kurt's for a few more seconds, before Kurt pulled away.

"I think I'm going to throw up." Kurt said in disgust before sitting in his usual seat.

"Awwww come on Kurt you know you liked it." Blaine smiled cheerfully sitting next to him.

"In your dreams shorty."

"Oh it is."

Kurt groaned, putting his head on his hand as Mr. Schuester walked into the room, looking confused when he saw everyone looking at Kurt and Blaine.

"Alright guys, I don't know what's going on, but we are doing duets this week! I put all your names in a hat, and I will draw them."

Kurt shrank down even more in his seat. This means he would actually have to sing. He was hoping it would not be Blaine, but he didn't want to be around any of these nerds.

"Kurt, you will be with Blaine."

Kurt groaned and pulled his knees up to his chest. Blaine had the biggest grin on his face. Best day ever!
