The Doctor sat at the kitchen table. There were three newspapers spread in front of him, one in English and the other two written in strange symbols. There was a big cup of tea in front of him, along with a half-eaten muffin. Soft music played from the cd player in the corner, a sort of soft jazz. Just then, Rose stumbled down the stairs. Her pajamas were a long shirt and sweatpants and she rubbed sleepily her eyes.

"Morning!" said the Doctor with a grin. Rose mumbled something back as she fumbled with the tea kettle. "Not much of a morning person, are we?" said the Doctor with a blinding smile. After a mouthful of tea, Rose grumbled,

"Shut up. It's too early to be this happy."

"It's a glorious Sunday morning, Rose! It's never too early to be happy!" The Doctor jumped up and turned up the music. He spun Rose in a circle, putting a hand on her waist and using his other to grab Rose's hand. The music kept playing, Glenn Miller jazz now coming from the cd player. Rose was barely awake as the Doctor whirled her around, spinning her out and back to him. When her eyes opened a little bit more and she realized what was happening, she smiled and put in a little of her own rhythm. When he spun her out, Rose's free hand flew out and she laughed. When the Doctor spun her back, Rose landed hard against his chest and they rocked back and forth.

"You don't dance so bad." Said the Doctor with a soft smile.

"It's nine in the morning. You should see me right around midnight." Said Rose sleepily. The Doctor laughed,

"I'm sure I should." The song came to an end and he dipped Rose until she was almost flat on her back. She didn't panic. Rose trusted that the Doctor would always pull her back up. The last note ended and he did pull her up, softly setting her on her slippered feet. Rose grinned and gave a curtsy, pulling the corners of her shirt out from her sides. The Doctor swept a low bow and grinned up at Rose. He straightened up and brought her hand to his mouth. He kissed it and grinned at Rose,

"Good morning."

"And what a good morning it is." Said Rose. She brought her tea over and joined the Doctor in their Sunday morning breakfast.
