A/N: This was inspired partly by the scene in Juno where Juno is asking her dad if two people can be happy together forever and partly by the Larry Stylinson fandom. Yes, I ship that. Guilty as charged.
Summary: "Do you believe that two people can be in love without knowing it?" Klaine.
Disclaimer: I humbly acknowledge that I don't own Glee.
"Dad?"
Burt looked up from his newspaper to see his son standing in the doorway dressed in his Dalton uniform. "You're home early," he noticed.
Kurt sat down at the table opposite Burt. "Yeah," he said. "We had a half-day because of some conference all the teachers were going to." Kurt looked down at his hands, twisted up with themselves.
"What's up buddy?" Burt asked.
"Do you believe in teenage love?" Kurt asked.
Burt sat back in his chair. "Like two kids going out and having some fun?" he asked. "Sure, why not?"
"No, I mean…" Kurt hesitated. "Do you think it's possible to find 'the one' while you're a teenager and fall in love with them?"
Burt thought for a moment and chose his words carefully. "I think it's possible," he said. "I think it's rare and I think staying with them is hard. But it's possible."
Kurt nodded and sat in silence for a few moments. Burt returned to the newspaper.
"Dad?"
"Yeah buddy?" Burt asked, laying down the paper again.
"Do you believe that two people can be in love without knowing it?" Kurt asked.
"Are you talking about you and Blaine?" Burt asked before realizing what he had said.
Kurt frowned. "Actually I was talking about Nick and Jeff…" he said slowly. "What about me and Blaine?"
Burt chuckled. "Never mind buddy," he said. "Let's just say I do believe that two people can be in love without knowing it."
A/N: Yay! I'm happy that's out of my head.
