"Pearl! You were amazing! You were all like, BAM! and then like, WHOOSH!" Steven related, dropping Amethyst for a moment to gesticulate wildly with his arms.

Pearl blushed, opening the door to the house. Garnet was half-draped over Pearl's shoulder, still semi-conscious, as they walked inside.

"Well, thanks Steven, but that was only because you are a good coach," Pearl said reasonably, still smiling.

Amethyst moaned, clutching her head, as Steven pulled her into the house. "Could you be a little more gentle?" she growled, rubbing her head.

"Sorry Amethyst," Steven said, putting her up on the coach. "How's your head?"

"Still killing me..." Amethyst groaned.

Pearl gently carried Garnet up to Steven's bed, setting her down gently. Garnet mumbled something, and didn't move.

"Garnet," Pearl said quietly, "Are you doing okay?"

"My muscles ache..." Garnet began, a bit sheepishly to Pearl's shock. "We won't be forming Sugilite for another hundred years at least..."

Pearl smiled softly. "Please never do that again," she said quietly.

Garnet shook her head, a small tear streaming out of her eye. "I could see everything she was doing," Garnet said quietly. "She's nothing like me and Amethyst...She tried to kill you. We tried to kill you. Pearl, I'm so sorry..."

Pearl shook her head. "It's not your fault. She doesn't even think of herself as a fusion. I'm just glad you and Amethyst are okay!" Pearl almost cried, throwing her arms around Garnet.

Garnet smiled, lifting a shaky hand to take off her glasses. "I've never felt this weak before," she laughed, and hardly moved.

Pearl smiled. "Take it easy, I'll do a few solo missions for once."

Garnet raised an eyebrow. "Maybe you could take Steven along."

Pearl's smiled disappeared. "Isn't that a bit dangerous?"

Garnet looked up slyly. "You insisted when you wanted to go solo. That or you could teach him how to fuse."

Pearl smiled back. "Maybe we could form...I don't know...A ruby? I bet I can teach him how to fuse first!"

"Your on," Garnet said stoically. "Just as soon as Amethyst and I recover."
