Title: Curious

((Author's Note: These are my two drabbles, one for Flourish and one not, posted together as one fic. Why? I can't stand little 4K fics crowding up the Harry Potter section. (I mean, there are 13,000+ fics; I think we need to be a bit more careful about posting a bunch of bitty sections of one story, or whatnot.) That said, I decided not to be a hypocrite, and combined my drabbles.))

Summary: A drabble. Not Flourish's drabble, because I forgot the magic word. But a drabble all the same.

Feedback: Not necessary, but certainly appreciated, and always returned.

Curious that last customer was. Harry Potter. Of course, I'd been expecting him for some time, but I had no idea this would happen. The wand he chose was a Holly/Phoenix feather hybrid, eleven inches long. The phoenix feather, however, was what made the wand interesting; Fawkes' only gave only one other feather. It ended up in Voldemort's wand.

I must owl Albus right away, and let him know about the curious events that have just transpired. He will know what to do, and whether or not I should have told young Potter. Yew. This was not supposed to happen.

Title: Mars

Author: Lady Christina

Summary: A drabble for Flourish. Need I say more?

Rating: G

Disclaimer: Not mine. JKR's.

Feedback: It doesn't keep me going, but it always brightens my day.

Mars is bright tonight. I told Hagrid that, but he didn't seem to understand. All humans are the same; they never know when to stay out of the way. Of course, I can't say anything to him; I've sworn not to put myself against the heavens.

I don't know what he was thinking, dragging the students into the Forest. They should be inside their monstrous castle, studying horticulture or whatnot; they must not wander around chasing after Him. Hagrid knows nothing about this forest, or about those inhabiting it, save Aragog.

At least he now knows Mars is bright tonight.
