Lacy here. Four tries to spell those first two words. Wow. Um, anywho, so I've got a request from HPforever. I'm guessing the look between Aaron and Emily in the train station wasn't missed by many. I'll admit, I did miss it at first. *sees stares of disbelief* I was working on OD people! Anywho, I have seen it, I squealed quite loudly over it and now I'm going to be a nice writer and give you all a one shot for it. HPforever requested this, wanting a story about their thoughts over the look. Well, here it is! Have fun.
Disclaimer: Nothing is mine. Pouting now.

Aaron gave Emily the nod to start walking the path their victim did. She returned the nod and started walking down the path. Aaron tried to keep his focus on Reid but it felt like his eyes were being pulled in Emily's direction and he found himself looking over at her again. To his surprise, she looked at him as well. Neither could look away, they just kept watching until Reid started speaking and Aaron turned, hoping the younger man hadn't caught on. Seeing Reid was still going, Aaron figured he and Emily were safe.
Three out of their last four cases had one or the other face to face with the unsub and it was getting harder to keep their personal feelings out of the job. They'd been dating for almost a year now and Aaron found more and more that he was paying close attention to Emily during cases. Making sure she was okay, making sure she wasn't getting hurt. He knew it was dangerous but he also knew if he took it too far, Dave would be having one hell of a talk with him.
The other man knew about them and promised Aaron a very painful talk should Aaron's feelings get in the way of the job. He knew from Emily that JJ had promised her the same thing. Those two were dangerous when they wanted to be.
Seeing Emily returning to him and Reid, Aaron turned his focus back to the case.

Emily made her way down the path that their victim took when the unsub spotted her. She kept her focus on making sure Reid and Aaron got what they needed but felt that someone was watching her. She knew if it was someone dangerous, Aaron would already be at her side and if it was simply another man admiring her, well, Aaron would still be right next to her before she could blink.
She barely hid a small smile. He was possessive like that. Not that Emily minded. Quite the opposite. Almost a year into the relationship and that was one of the things Emily loved about Aaron.
Turning her head, Emily bit back the smile again as she caught Aaron watching her. To her surprise, he didn't duck his head or turn away like he normally did when caught. No, he just kept watching her and she found that she was unable to look away. They kept their eyes locked until Reid started speaking and Aaron turned away. Even then, Emily didn't stop watching him.
It was getting hard to keep things professional at work but Emily just kept Dave and JJ's promise firmly in the front of her mind. If they ever slipped up, if they ever let their feelings come before the job, they both had very unpleasant talks with Dave and JJ to look forward to.
Making her way back over to Aaron and Reid, Emily shook her head, getting her focus back on the case.
