I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING.
-After we know everyone in the show and the show 'really' begins
Camille and Klaus are in her office and they've been talking about the supernatural like they've been doing for the past couple of weeks.
"I like you Klaus" Camille blurted out loud. She wanted to know where this was going, he'd been coming to the university for a few weeks now and she couldn't deny he was devilishly handsome. He was really smart and always had a comeback for whatever argument she had against him.
Klaus smirks but doesn't move from his relaxed slouched position he's in. "Of course you do, I'm positively gorgeous."
"Lets be serious for one minute ok?" Camille sighs, she had gotten to know the arrogant and self absorbed man, but she couldn't help but feel attracted to him, he was everything she was looking for in a man.
"Ok. But I'm sorry sweetheart, I'm in love with someone else" Klaus stated. He was used to women liking him, even loving him and he was used to rejecting them but this was the first time he actually had a reason, apart from the fact that he didn't like her. He was in love with Caroline. In his entire thousand years of living, he had never felt this way, he never thought that someone, especially a young blonde vampire, could make him love.
Camille was trying to cover up her shock. She had always thought Klaus as a player, he was the type of man who was afraid of commitment. But she couldn't think of anything to say that would suggest that in a nice way.
"Oh. Um. Who?" Well she had to ask. Who was the girl that stole the cold heart of this man?
"It's none of your business, but her name is Caroline" He smiles "She's beautiful and..." He thought back to all the times she stood up to him, how she understood him with that light of hers. He still couldn't figure out how someone like that, like her, could understand his darkness. She confused him, she was the same yet the exact opposite of him and that's why he loves her.
Camille was disappointed but intrigued. She was hoping for a 'but' after that sentence, though she wasn't exactly thinking he would just say "but I guess I could give you a chance". She knew that was it for her, she knew she shouldn't have let herself feel anything for him. She saw the look in his eyes, she had seen it before - on herself. That was a long time ago. She wouldn't let herself feel that way again, especially now. She sighed, he was truly in love. She wondered if he knew how much it was going to hurt when he gets his heart broken.
"So... I think I have everything I need and I have a meeting in a few minutes, would you mind?" She gave a small smile as she watched him nod and walk out the door.
