/ Mikan's POV/

The light. It's calling my name. there's something in it that makes it impossible for me to disobey.

'Mikan. Follow me. If you do, you'll never be sad. We'll be together. And you'll finally be happy.'

I must. Follow. My heart tells me to. I want to be happy. I want to feel true happiness. Even for once.

'Follow the light and it will lead you to happiness… to…'

Howalons. I'm soooo… glad. I'm happy that I'm in a place where I could stay forever. But then, something feels empty. And I don't think it's my stomach. So, it was my heart all along. I bet if Natsume were here, everything would have been perfect.

'Mikan, I'm afraid to tell you but.. all this.. is going to end soon...'

But why? Does it really have to? What could possibly stop me now? I ask myself over and over. Just then, I heard a familiar voice, it was telling me to…

/end POV/

" Mikan, get OUT of my REFRIGERATOR! Your spoiling MY food!" commanded a black-haired boy.

"Oh sure my BELOVED Howalons!"

A/N: I'm not sure if Natsume heard Howalons, but then again, he was blushing, so… I guess not….

"Get your hands off my Howalons! I'm preserving them you know! Not spoiling them!"

After that Mikan was suddenly conscious again.

"What the HELL were you doing in there anyway?!"

"Howalon leader told me to.."

" Now you're giving them names?! I should really let you have a check up sometime…" Sniggered Natsume.

Then Mikan suddenly became conscious.

"What the heck were you doing in my fridge anyway?" Natsume asked again.

"Howalons." Mikan replied, half asleep.

"I should really get rid of this temptation." Said Natsume as he lifted the half empty box of Howalons.

"I'll help you!!" Mikan suddenly became fully conscious. She grabbed the box from Natsume and ate all the Howalons that were left.

"DONE! See? It wasn't THAT hard."

"tch." Natsume reacted, annoyed.
