Second Doctor Who story, inspired by the end scene from An Adventure In Space And Time, wondered what a meeting between The First Doctor And The Twelfth (By Moffat logic Fourteenth.) Doctor would be like but this time with more dialog plus the brilliance of the ending scene to An Adventure In Space And Time can't be touched. Anyways enough of my babble...

~Enjoy~

The Tardis, on The Planet Cassius In The Sol System.

"Are you sure, there is anything you need before we go out grandfather?" asks Susan curiously as she stares at her grandfather from the Tardis's doorway.

"Hmmmmm?" Hums The First Doctor as he fiddles with the Tardis controls before turning to Susan.

"No, no my dear I am quite fine I assure you." Says The First Doctor as he waves his hands signalling for Susan to go with Ian and Barbara.

Susan smiles warmly at her grandfather before exiting the Tardis.

The First Doctor then walks to his controls, and begins fiddling with the various switches and gears.

When suddenly he feels a presence near him, looking up from his control panel he see's him…

"Usually you all appear in dreams." Says The First Doctor as he stares at his future incarnation

"Yes well, it's not every day you see you're future face." Replies The Twelfth Doctor sardonically as he stares at his past self allowing a sly smirk to cross his face.

"Yes, quite right you are my boy." Responds The First Doctor with a chuckle before he looks down at the Tardis control panel before looking up once more.

"Well, at least I don't look like a young teeny bopper this time around." States the First Doctor sarcastically this time allowing himself a sly smile.

The Twelfth Doctor then allows himself a chuckle as he looks down as well.

"Can't argue with that logic." Responds The Twelfth Doctor as he looks up at his first face.

"So tell me how has old age been treating you?" Asks The First Doctor curiously with a raised brow as he stares at his future self.

"Relatively well actually, except for these damnable kidney's" replies The Twelfth Doctor in frustration and a slight scowl.

The First then chuckles once more at his future self's observation.

"Yes, well those things have always been a bit dodgy." Replies The First Doctor before looking up and then over at his future incarnation.

"Tell me, how does old age treat you?" asks The Twelfth Doctor curiously.

"Oh you know what they say wisdom before beauty." Replies The First Doctor as he looks down at his control panel once more.

"And same man, different face." Replies The Twelfth Doctor as he begins disappearing.

"Quite right you are." Replies The First Doctor before looking up and seeing his future self gone.

"Hmph, and same man same tricks I see." States the First Doctor as he looks towards the direction his future self had been standing.

Suddenly Ian Barbara, and Susan arrive to see The First Doctor looking over to his side.

"What are you looking at grandfather?" asks Susan as she approaches her grandfather putting her hand on his shoulder, as he turns around to face her.

"Oh nothing my dear, just old memories from newer times." Says The First Doctor as he turns to Susan with a smile.

Ian, and Barbara both look at each other with quizzical looks on their face's before looking at The First Doctor.

"What do you mean by that Doctor?" asks Ian curiously with peaked brow.

"Maybe one day you shall see my dear boy." States the First Doctor with a smirk as he walks away from The Tardis's control panel and before patting Ian on the shoulder.

"Yes, maybe one day you shall see." Replies The First Doctor as he takes a seat at his favorite chair and smiles.
