Chapter One

In the park, the one that Mahiru as told about the Teardrops of the Moon and the mission for the first time, a portal opened up in mid air and five kids, two girls and three boys, fell onto the ground. Thankfully, nobody saw thing occur. The youngest of the group, a five-year-old boy with brown hair and equally brown eyes, was sitting on the top of the dog pile with his thumb in his mouth. The small boy heard his friends groan as he easily slid off of the dog pile and then watched as the twins started arguing... again.

"WILL YOU GET OFF OF ME!" A sixteen-year-old boy with blond hair and golden brown eyes shouts from the bottom of the pile. The girl, his twin with green hair and blue eyes, laying directly on his back and glared at him. Unfortunately, the twins took on their father's temper.

"DON'T START YELL YOU IDIOT! Besides, it isn't like we ended up going to another time or anything, Tobikuma," the girl says to her brother.

"Actually," another girl, this one being twenty years of age with light green hair and matching eyes, started saying as she slid off the pile and take the five-year-old's free hand, "you might want to take a look around, Masa." The twins listened to the oldest member of their group and took in the surrounding area. Their eyes widened.

"I hope we never have to go through that again," a seventeen-year-old boy with blond hair and blue eyes said. Tobikuma quickly stood up and turned around to the older boy.

"DO YOU NOT REALIZE THAT WE ARE NOT IN OUR OWN TIME, ICHIRO?!" Tobikuma shouts with much anger. Ichiro helped Masa up and ignored Tobikuma until he knew that his girlfriend was okay.

"Do not allow your anger to control your words Tobikuma," the oldest girl said.

"DON'T START TELLING ME WHAT TO DO, KANEKO!" The male twin shouts. The five-year-old starts crying because it looked like Tobikuma was directing his anger at the small boy. When he started crying, Tobikuma flinched away before getting smacked in the head by his twin sister.

"Nice going Tobi," Masa said before walking over to the small boy holding Kaneko's hand and picking him up. "Hey, it's okay Edelio. Tobi isn't going to eat you," Masa cooed. Edelio started laughing and Tobikuma grunted at what Masa said.

"So motherly," Ichiro sighed. "She will be a perfect mother when she has our kids." Tobikuma glared at his sister's boyfriend.

"Say that again. See if I don't tear you apart," Tobikuma threatened.

"Oooh, shiver shiver," Ichiro said in mock fear. This made Tobikuma growl at his friend and catch Masa's attention.

"Will you two stop acting like our fathers for two seconds?" Masa said with irritation before turning towards Kaneko. "So where should we go? We'll need help if we want to get back to the future." Kaneko shoved her glasses up her nose in thought before answering her friend. The two older decided to continue to argue.

"We could go to the Moon Shine. Our parents might be able to help us but we will need to keep it a secret that they are our parents," Kaneko explained. "We can still tell them we are from the future though." Just then, Edelio's stomach growled as well as Masa's and Kaneko smirked.

"I think that is a great idea," Masa said with a small giggle. She put Edelio down, he grabbed Kaneko's hand again, before she walked over to the boys that were arguing. Masa wore anger and irritation on her face. Seeing this, the two boys stopped, scared of what the female twin would do. In a blink of an eye, Masa had a hold of both of their ears and dragged them away as a smirking Kaneko lead the way to the Moon Shine.

Three years had passed since the Teardrops were brought back together. The shop was completely empty because of closing time but the staff was still finishing cleaning the shop. Mitsuru and Mahiro worked on the dishes, Akira was mopping, Nozomu was wiping the tables, and Misoka was putting all of the food away. Everything was peaceful. Then there was a knock on the Moon Shine's front door.

"I'll get it!" Akira shouts before racing over to the door. He was greeted with two teen boys rubbing their ears, a teenage girl holding a sleeping child, and an older girl standing outside the door. "I'm sorry but we are closed right now," Akira said politely.

"Do not worry, we merely ask for the assistance of your group," Kaneko said. Akira couldn't help but think that she sounded like Misoka.

"Geez, Kane, you do sound like your dad when you are serious," Masa said.

"Just like those two sound like their dads when they start arguing," Kaneko said as she nodded to the two boys behind the girls. Masa made a small laugh at that comment which earned her a glare from her twin. Kaneko smirked which made Akira think that she looked like Misoka again.

'Weird,' Akira thought.

"Hey, Akira, who's at the door?" Nozomu called over. Akira invited them in and they sat around the bar. "Who are you guys?" Nozomu asked.

"I am Kaneko Asagi."

"Tobikuma Suou."

"They call me Ichiro Moegi."

"I'm Masa Suou and this is Edelio." At the sound f his name, Edelio woke up and looked around at the new faces in the room until his eyes caught Akira's.

"Daddy!" The small boy calls as he tries to reach for Akira. Tobikuma, Ichiro, and Masa all went wide eyed and tensed, Kaneko merely turned to the small boy, and everyone else stared at the boy with confusion.

"Looks like we will have to tell them after all," Kaneko said in a grim voice. Edelio looked over to Kaneo and tilted his head. Masa sigh but it was Tobikuma who spoke.

"Way to go Edelio."
