A/n: So this is just a little something. I know its not much and not amazing but yeah. Enjoy.
Neville was sat in the Gryffindor common room talking with Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny.
Harry was sat in one of the comfier armchairs, Ginny sat across his lap arm around his shoulder, head rested against his. Hermione was led on one of the sofas head resting on Rons leg as he absently stroked her hair while talking to the others. Neville sat across from them, alone as ever.
He didn't mind being alone in that sense. Not really. In a way he understood why no one was interested. He knew he wasn't the best looking guy around. His Gran was always reminding him that he wasn't as good as his dad. Not as smart, not as handsome. He had just accepted the fact that maybe, for the moment, he wasn't supposed to be with anyone. Not like that.
But then she had come along and changed all of that. At first he had been a little weary around her. She was "Loony Lovegood" after all. No one seemed to want to be around her. But then in that way they were kind of the same. OK so he did have Harry and all that but they always seemed to be preoccupied or off on some adventure, they could be really secretive and closed off from others and apart from that, there was no one.
"So Neville," Hermione said pulling him out of his thoughts. "You and Luna have been seeing a lot of each other lately." She smiled at him knowingly.
Neville could feel himself going red.
"I- er- I- Yeah we have- er I suppose." He stuttered in reply.
They had been there was no point lying about it. He loved spending time with her. She was is best friend. She was more than that. It had been almost a natural evolution. They had got closer and closer until they'd become boyfriend and girlfriend. They had kept their relationship a secret.
His mind went back to lunchtime. They had spent the time behind the green houses, just talking and kissing and being together. It felt like heaven.
He looked at the others.
"Yeah we're kind of seeing each other."
He smiled.
Yes being with her was like heaven.
A/n: You know what to do. Thanks for reading. x
