Okay! Hi guys! I wrote this a while ago after reading a fairy tale called Purple Flowers, I have no idea who it's by. But I got some inspiration and wrote this for my Tony at like 4 am. So I am sorry if it sucks and is pointless and confusing. XP But I needed to get it out of my sticky notes for spring cleaning and thought, "HEY! Maybe someone will enjoy it!" So yah! :D Yay~? Enjoy it! Review if you do!

There were once two little boys, who lived across the street from each other.

When they met they met in a park down the street filled with flowers that were purple.

The boy with the black hair was sitting alone in a tree.

The boy with brown hair thought he looked sad. So he picked one, and put it in his hair. And the boy had smiled.

They sat in the tree. And they decided that if their parents didn't love them, then they would love each other.

And so every day they would meet in that tree, and the brown haired boy would pick a purple flower for the black haired boy, and the black haired boy would smile.

As they started to grow up they never left their tree. When both boys were 16 the brown haired boy carved a flower in to their tree, just like the purple flowers.

A year later, the black haired boy's family moved away, just as winter came and the purple flowers died. Now the boys could not smile.

They grew up even more never hearing from the other. But every day the brown haired boy would go to the park and pick a purple flower, but he could not smile.

The black haired boy did not have any flowers to make him smile, and all he could feel was the winters chill when he said good bye.

One day when they were both out of school. The black haired boy drove through his winter chill and sat in the tree by his old house.

The brown haired boy was going to do the same. The snow covered the ground and hid the flowers. And so the brown haired boy went to his house and picked fresh ones that he had grown.

He climbed the tree and put it in the black boy's hair. And they both smiled so brightly that the ice melted away.

But the brown haired boy had to go away for important work. And their smiles faded. And the ice climbed back in to the black boy's heart, the cold killed all of his purple flowers.

One day years later. When they were both fully adults. The black haired boy went to their tree with a rope. He was smiling and crying.

A neighbor noticed and called the brown haired boy, then made the black haired boy come in for tea.

The brown haired boy got there 4 hours later, having driven through the snow.

The black haired boy was asleep on the couch and the neighbor left to give them privacy just smiling knowingly at the brown haired boy's thank you's. The brown haired boy made a decision.

And when the black haired boy woke up he was alone. The brown haired boy came in and made the black haired boy look at him.

He had a purple flower in his hand. And so he looked at the flower humming a tuneless tune as he slit the stem.

The black haired boy frowned as the brown haired boy mangled the flower. Eventually the brown haired boy got up and turned around and took a breath.

He sat down by the black haired boy and told him about when spring comes and melts winter to summer, when the purple flowers grow.

And so the brown haired boy slid off the couch and got on one knee. And he asked if the first purple flower of the summer could go on his finger instead of his hair.

And the black haired boy smiled.
